The recent announcement of a £14.7 million investment in a Glasgow-based satellite company, creating more than 260 jobs, is welcome news for the Scottish space industry as a whole, but particularly Prestwick, where plans are gathering pace to establish Scotland’s first horizontal launch Spaceport.
